We are used to working with other professional advisers and don't seek to duplicate or displace their input where we are looking at an opportunity in an investment capacity. There will however also be occasions where we can provide specialist support and advice even if the opportunity isn't appropriate for our funding partners.

Strange as it may seem we also act in an advisory capacity for other Private Equity houses or for management teams seeking to raise money from other funders.

We won't seek or take insolvency appointments but we do understand the difficult world of a financially distressed business.

As you would expect financial analysis and modelling are a key part of what we do so we have in house skills to deliver this. We can share these skills with you.

Not all transactions will fit with our funding partners and where this is the case we are happy to discuss an independent advisory role to bring in other funders. Who better to support you in fundraising negotiations than someone who has sat in the chair on the other side of the table?

To be clear – if you already have advisors and are approaching us as potential funders for your business we do not seek to disturb your relationship with your existing advisors. We are very happy to work with them and for you to continue to receive their advice and input.

We are not insolvency practitioners but members of our team do have experience of this work and one of our founders holds an insolvency licence. As a result we know what the various parties need to achieve and what is and isn't possible.

We are able to help both lenders/creditors and management teams find their way through the difficult world of a financial restructuring in an advisory capacity even if it isn't appropriate for us to be participating in the funding round directly.

Financial modelling

As you would expect financial analysis and modelling are a key part of what we do so we have in house skills to deliver this. We can share these skills with you.

We can provide day rate based modelling support and have also developed a separate service offering via SaaS (software as a service) where you can access heavy duty customised financial forecasting tools online through a monthly subscription and a relatively modest upfront tailoring cost.

This allows businesses of all sizes to access the sort of forecasting capability that has until now only been within reach of large corporates. It isn't just a piece of software out of a box that fits your business like a cheap suit. It is a tailor made tool that is adjusted to fit the specifics of your business.
