We are able to deliver funding for transactions with an enterprise value of up to £50m. We are also happy to look at smaller transactions and recognise that sometimes the ability to deliver follow on funding can be as important as the initial cheque.

We are relatively agnostic about sector; the important thing for us is that we understand a business and its dynamics.
 
There are key differences between us and most private equity firms;

We don't have a fund with strict rules about what we can and can't invest
in. We work with a number of private individuals, family offices and
institutions who collectively give us a very broad range of investment
criteria,

Our core decision making process is very simple and transparent;

Do we believe in the business and its management?

Are we comfortable that an investment will make a sensible return?

Is there a plan B that allows us to manage the downside if things don't work out as we all expect?

We seek a proactive involvement post investment so the human dynamic is important. It's not just about doing a deal, we need to be able to work
together,

We have experience of turnaround and special opportunities so the your business doesn't need to be profitable today but there needs to be a sensible and deliverable plan to bring it back to profitability.

We don't wish to replace the executive management but we aren't passive either and are able to bring significant experience and skill to the table in particular to;

Help set the strategy and more importantly continually test and challenge it,

Make sure that the operational strategy fits and helps deliver the shareholder strategy,

Support specific projects or fill gaps in experience.
